Symptoms
When combined with alcohol: facial flushing, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, agitation, malaise (disulfiram-like reaction). Same coprine-alcohol syndrome as Coprinopsis atramentaria.
Hallucinogenic Effects
No hallucinogenic effects. The gills deliquesce (auto-digest) into black ink. Striking black-and-white magpie-like coloration pattern on the cap gives it its common name. Visual process of autodigestion is remarkable.
User Reported Vision
Black and white patterns appeared everywhere like a magpie's feathers. The world became high contrast and sharp, almost painful to look at.
